The central panel after 'Hope' with the addition of enamel stars. Heavy symbolism is emphasised by the drooping enamel leaves. The solid drop appears to represent the Alchemist melting pot of the Universe.

Provenance: Richard Budgett.
The friendship with Watts & Ann Budgett is well known & we wonder if the letter 'B' in these monograms are linked.
