Beautiful articulated pendant combining gold, opals, pearls & plique-à-jour enamel. The reverse has a champlevé enamel style back depicting an iris in gold.
This pendant shows very definitive Edward Colonna styling, in particular the setting of the large blster pearl. It is thought that Colonna produced some designs that were used by Marcus & Co.
