Alice Beatrice Waymouth was born in Christchurch, New Zealand.
She came to England in 1902 & studied at C.R. Ashbee’s Guild of Handicraft in Chipping Camden, where she was taught by the silversmith George Hart. She moved to Oxfordshire.
