A Gothic Revival gold hexafoil shaped brooch attributed to John Hardman & Co.
The centre, set with a fine cloissone enamel 'fleur-de-lys' encircled by six peridots. Jewels of this type by Hardman are rare & were made for a small group of English Catholic families.
