Attributed to Koloman Moser as the design is illustrated in Ver Sacrum 1898-1903, 11-4-30, p.180
The case is illustrated in Roberto Festi, Wiener Bijoux, Gioielli e design, Schmuck und Design, Josef Maria Auchentaller per/fur Georg Adam Scheid 1895-1910, Grado 2015, p. 31 as Koloman Moser.
However, Eric Schaling in his book 2017 Georg Adam Scheid, A remarkable Viennese Silversmith, page 50 suggests the designer in in fact Josef Maria Auchentaller.
This has given rise to an interesting debate…...
